MAREE KELLY  (SAGITTARIUS - ROOSTER)

                           Joyful, free-spirited, expressive - tell it like it is, intuitive,

                            instinctive, risk taker, loyal.

 

SKILLS:              Being second eldest of 9 children in a NZ family life taught me

                           great survival, nurturing and domestic skills. I learnt how to stand

                           up and defend my position, when to keep my mouth shut, and how

                           to achieve the outcome I desired. I also learned how going without

                           material possessions makes you a stronger, resilient, determined

                           confident and independent  individual. It's very competitive growing

                           up in a large family, and that's where my love and passion for sport

                           (Representative Netball) and love of many board and card games

                           originated.

 

CAREER PATH: From a Nursing background, my career path blossomed taking

                           many twists and turns. I worked overseas for 5 years- first

                           Nursing in Perth, Hospitality and Sales in London and Hotel

                           Reception in South Africa. On arriving in Sydney, I was employed

                           for my organisational skills in Event Management, 

                           Hotel Management, (the most fun) and later down the track working

                           with Autism.  Was Chairman and Secretary of two Strata

                           Committees for around a decade.

                           I feel confident all my skills and life experiences can be put to

                           good use at the Bridge Club moving forward.

 

HOBBIES:          Start my day with a 5km walk, followed by coffee and  then

                           YouTube Pilates, or bop around to Saturday Night Fever Disco

                           depending on energy levels.

                           Try my best to practice Mindfulness every morning.

                           Roaming Nomad. Husband and I love to travel. Spent 11 months

                           roaming the world in 2018/19.

                           Fine Dining with even Finer Wines.

                           Eating and keeping on top of world affairs.

                           Best of all spending time with my two children and my two beautiful

                           young grandsons. So precious to me.
