Don Paton

I am a retired project manager/engineer. Although I have only been playing bridge and been a club member since mid-2022, I love the game and would like to see our club grow and prosper. Since joining CCBC, I have gained some understanding and knowledge of how our club works and the requirements for a successful, friendly and vibrant club. Although I have not held a formal position with CCBC, I have attempted to be useful in a wide variety of ways such as working in the kitchen during the last Congress, helping with general maintenance and assisting with the sound proofing.

Colleen Milne

I learnt bridge in Sydney in 1995, where I played constantly for 15 years prior to my retirement and subsequent travel around Australia following my other passion – golf. I settled in Port Augusta which didn’t have a bridge club, so I started one by offering lessons and keeping it going for the next 10 years, until I moved to the Central Coast in 2024. If elected to the committee my focus will be on fund raising, and mentoring learners after they have completed their initial 6 weeks of lessons. I believe that a club can only be successful if they: A. Can keep the members they have happy.

I am keen to see CCBCLJ thrive and prosper and hope that from my dedication to the above role it will be seen that I am prepared to expend the necessary time and effort toward achieving this goal.  I currently hold the voluntary position of Catering Supervisor.

Jill Wildey

Jill’s been a Coastie for 26 years. Since retiring 11 years ago she has volunteered with the SES for 7 years and has undertaken 10 years of hard yakka at CCBC, where she has met lots of wonderful people who have led her into bridge addiction.  Jill is a tireless worker who has been invaluable at recent congresses and you will always see her helping out during and after regular sessions.
