AGM 2021 Results
Thank you to all who participated in our AGM. We used Simply Voting to manage electronic voting. All members with email addresses who indicated their willingness to participate electronically received a ballot via email. Thirty-three members who did not have an email address or who expressed a preference for a paper ballot received a ballot by mail to ensure all had an opportunity to participate. A big thank you to Colin Speller for organising the set up of the voting with Simply Voting.
The only issue requiring a vote was approval of the minutes of last year’s AGM. One hundred seventeen members participated electronically, and 101 (92%) voted to approve the minutes of the 2020 AGM. Ten members returned postal ballots, and all approved last year’s minutes. Electronic voters also overwhelmingly (over 90%) approved the reports from the Tournament Secretary, Treasurer, and President that were posted on the website.
The nominees for committee equaled the number of positions available, so no vote was required. The 2021-22 committee members are:
