Over the past week we have run four club championships. Below, please find the winners;

Club Open Teams - Garry and Sally Clarke, Di Coats and Jan Clarke.
Restricted Pairs - Jean Moran and Mary McFadden
Novice Pairs - Annette Houtman and Kerrie Ransom
Swiss Pairs - Marie Purkiss and Toni Dixon
Congratulations to all of our club champions. I would also like to thank all those who came along and participated.

a) Wednesday 23rd May Pairs
b) Thursday 31st Australia Wide Novice Pairs (afternoon session)

The club will be running a CPR (and general first aid) course on Friday afternoon, May 25, starting at 1:30 pm. It will be conducted by Lawrie Ransom. Some of you will recall that Lawrie ran a course for us some time ago and it was excellent. Everyone is welcome, and who knows, what you learn may very well save someone's life.

At our last committee meeting it was decided to send three novice teams to various congresses. So, if you are a novice player and would like to play in a local congress this is for you. The club will pay the entry fee for three teams. The conditions of entry are:
Each player
a) has fewer than 100 masterpoints
b) has been playing for fewer than five years,.
c) is a home member of the Central Coast Bridge Club

The committee chose four congresses. The two coming up shortly are Maitland (May 6) and Newcastle (June 16 & 17)
If you are interested please see a committee member.
